VERDE: Environmental certification system

VERDE is the Spanish system for environmental certifications (equivalent to LEED in the USA).
It is managed by the Spanisch Green Building Council (GBCe).
Micheel Wassouf from TBZ-Spain in an acredited evaluator (VERDE-EA) for the VERDE-Systeme.

Advantages of VERDE

What are the advantages of VERDE:

- Adapted system for the Spanish building regulation
- Supported by Spanish public government
- Calculating of the real environmental impact (CO2 equiv.), and not only of an abstract measu rment scale
- Soon also available for existing buildings
- Adapted to Spanish common social denominators
